After 27 years no promotion granted because I had no schooling which I felt was wrong as others didn't have the same guidelines. As a single mom and busy with kids they now offer me a promotion with extra work and meetings which I don't want it. Can I refuse it? I have had anxiety for years and still on medication

Two things can happen if you turn down the promotion: either your employment continues without any changes or they let you go. If they let you go they would owe you a sizable termination package because you have such lengthy service. You have a major decision to make so I encourage you to contact us at the number below to go over your options in greater detail.
