Am I eligible for UI if I am terminated immediately with cause??

If you have been terminated with cause, then Service Canada will investigate the matter first to determine whether the company actually had cause to terminate your employment, a process which can take a couple of months. If they determine that the company did not have cause to terminate your employment, you will receive UI at that point retroactive to your termination date.
