Can one claim anything after 7 years?

Hi Vittoria,

Thank you for your question.

I'm not sure as to the specifics of your situation, but, generally speaking, there is a 2-year limitation period with respect to wrongful dismissal matters. What this means is that an employee who has been wrongfully dismissed by their employer (e.g. terminated and not provided with a reasonable severance package) generally has 2 years to commence a lawsuit.
