I was fired yesterday though a text message because I covered a shift at work and the girl backed out and I said I couldn't make it in because I worked my other job. The same thing happened the previous week except the opposite. I said I could switch a shift then realized I couldn't but they still told me I had to come in or else I would be fired. I figured it out and came in. Wondering what my rights were in this situation. I have been employed there 2 years.
