I took time of work due to being injured. They took up all my sick days and gave me written warning even with a Drs note. I called in sick today and am scared I am going to get fired. Can they fire me?

Thanks for writing to us. Your employment cannot be legally terminated because you are injured or sick. Your employer must maintain your employment as long as you provide a doctor's note that indicates that you cannot work for medical reasons. Based on what you have described, your employer may be discriminating against you on the basis of disability. You should give us a call at the number below right away to discuss your situation in further detail with a lawyer. We would be happy to help you however we can.
