Can I be fired for asking for a raise?

My name is David Vaughan and I am an employment lawyer with Samfiru Tumarkin. Your employment cannot be terminated for "just cause" for asking for a raise. However, an employer does not need a reason to terminate the employment relationship. In that case, it would need to provide you with a severance package.
