I was emailed a termination letter that says I’m terminated as of the 30th but then they called me and said I still have to work until the 24th do I still have to go in in order to be paid

Your employer is allowed to provide you with working notice, or pay in lieu of notice. Based on your statement, it appears that what your workplace is doing is providing approximately one week of working notice, and the remainder as pay in lieu.
