I am a Registered Nurse. I have been with my employer for 3 months as of today, On Monday I came forward with the fact that I have bipolar II disorder and need some remedial training. I am on medication and function at a high level generally. I was asked into my manager's office today and was fired without paper notice. They made some comment to the effect that the medical team and my peers felt I was not good enough to stay. In any event I felt this was a wrongful dismissal due to the timing of coming out with my medical diagnosis. Please reply ASAP.

Thank you for your question. This appears to be a wrongful dismissal and potentially a human rights violation. Please note that for wrongful dismissal claims, if you are unionized, you will need to go through the union. For human rights matters, you may be able to proceed to the Tribunal regardless of whether you are unionized.

In any case, I would recommend contacting us at the number below for a consultation.
