I am a dental receptionist and I was fired after two years employment at the end of the day the doctors called me i to the office and told me that production had been down for a few months and they had lost money pointing at a piece of paper on the desk and said it was all my fault. The doctor was yelling at me and I was in shock, I had just had my employee review two weeks earlier and nothing was ever said to me that they weren’t happy with my performance. I wasn’t allowed to defend myself and every time i tried he said I was lying. I felt so humiliated and degraded.They did say they were giving me three weeks pay as severance but I am now emotionally struggling to understand how they turned on me like that so harshly. I always came to work and did a good job. Can they blame all that on me? Did I get a good settlement or am I entitled to more?

I was terminated from my job with out cause ! I did not get a letter stating my termination with 2 weeks pay and did not receive my last week of vacation pay aswell! Am i entitled to that ? I also didn't receive my whole paycheck!

I am a dental assistant. I was terminated without cause on February10 at the end of the day, starting immediately. Termination letter says i will get paid 2 weeks pay in lieu of notice. I am given a release form asking to sign that I will not take any action against them. If I sign the release, they will give 1 more extra week's pay. All this happened after I submitted a complaint against co-worker who was yelling at me. Can I claim for unfair dismissal?

Hello, I was let go 2 days go under the pretense that the employer had a specific culture in mind for the company, and that i did not fit into it. I had worked there for 2 years and 11 months and that was never an issue until a new manager came in and started firing other employees and bringing his own workers from his previous employment.
