Fired after returning from wsib

My employer dismissed me after I filed a complaint against them

If I’m a “volunteer” but paid a monetary amount for the work provided am I classed as an employee or other? And what recourse do I ha e for termination rights?

I have had 5 accidents at work in the last year. The latest accident was a recordable injury. I am worried that my employer is going to fire me. Can they legally fire me because of this?

I work for a sporting organization who pays me a monetary stipend each game. I’m provided no water/food or break times during the course of the game and am standing outside in the heat for 6+ hrs each event. Today I received a text message stating I was no longer required. Is there grounds for wrongful dismissal and/or human rights violation? Other employees have also gone months without pay.
