What is not a ground for dismissal

I was fired 2 months ago. The only reason stated on the paper for termination was probation. I was however fired right after I had to call into work because my daughter was very sick and had to be brought to the hospital. The boss ended up calling me and demanding I be at work. Then asked for me to come in for a meeting the following day. Where all the other employees already knew I was terminated. I asked for further explanation of why I was terminated in an email to which I have never received a response. Is there anything I can do? I only worked there 2 months but feel as if my termination was a direct result of my daughter having to be in the hospital which seems unjust.

I was just waiting for my weekly schedule to come in. Didn’t see it. So I messaged the group chat we have. A coworker privately messaged me the schedule, and I was no longer on it. I worked on Saturday, and NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. I was not given any sort of notice or termination letter, written or verbal and I have proof that the owner was not going to say anything as someone asked him what to say to me and he said nothing. I’d like to know what my options are here. I have worked for this restaurant for years, until the owners retired and new management came in around May 2019 which is when I started working there again.
