Add Comment Question: I was fired from my job of 6 years for a safety violation. I had asked 2 supervisors that I needed a new spray mask as mine was no longer use able. Was asked to mix the sprayer on tuesday as I didn't have a mask I open the garage doors for ventilation and made sure no other fellow employees were close. Supervisor came and stated I should be wearing a mask which he knew I didn't have. Next day wednesday went to work no write up or warning issued. Thursday was asked to mix sprayer again and told to wear a mask. Proceed to go find an old used mask no idea whose it was cleaned it using lysol wipes as best as could wore it and mixed the chemicals. So I compiled with the supervisors request. Friday went to work and was told I was terminated for the violation No warning no write up ? Do I have got severe nice pay and benefits But am worried will not get unemployment benefits because roe says dismissed?
