I was dismissed for a job 13 years ago and fought against it through the Ontario Human Rights tribunal for discrimination. This was the wrong way of fighting the case for myself.

I recently found out that what may have caused the issues from the past was PTSD. It was a Professional Firefighters position. My local union failed me on representation.

Can I still fight this case against them for PTSD and what are my chances of winning?

Thank you for your question. You are likely out of time to pursue your case, as generally speaking there is a 2-year limitation period on such cases. However, as a unionized employee, you should seek advice from your union to be sure.
