Hi,

I am going through a situation and need your expert advice.

I am a software engineer living in Pakistan. Some time ago, I got a job offer from a Canadian IT company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. I accepted the offer and then processes to get the LMIA and Work Visa started. I went through all the steps of visa processing and finally I got the Visas for myself, my wife (open work permit) and my two children few days ago.

After getting work permit approval and work Visa from IRCC, I gave notice to my current employer which was a very stable job. My wife also resigned from his job. I started winding up things from here. I have sold all my assets including property, furniture, appliances, vehicles etc. But after that my Canadian employer has withdrawn the job offer giving the reason that business needs have changed. This has put me in very terrible situation and deep mental stress.
I tried to negotiate an alternative solution with employer and eventually asked for a liable compensation but with no success.

Now, I want to file a lawsuit against employer for compensation of my expenses and damages.
Can you please help in this case? Please tell how much compensation I can get in case I go for a lawsuit?

Please advice on your earliest. Would really appreciate your support in advance.

Regards,
Zeeshan
