I had asked 2 supervisors that I needed a new spray mask as mine was no longer use able. Was asked to mix the sprayer on tuesday as I didn't have a mask I open the garage doors for ventilation and made sure no other fellow employees were close. Supervisor came and stated I should be wearing a mask which he knew I didn't have. Next day wednesday went to work no write up or warning issued. Thursday was asked to mix sprayer again and told to wear a mask. Proceed to go find an old used mask no idea whose it was cleaned it using lysol wipes as best as could wore it and mixed the chemicals. So I compiled with the supervisors request. Friday went to work and was told I was terminated for the violation No warning no write up ? Do I have got severe nice pay and benefits But am worried will not get unemployment benefits because roe says dismissed? Do I have a chance of a claim for wrongful dismissal Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated If you are mere days from the end of your probationary period and are fired for something that several other employees on probation have done without being fired, and having been given attitude by your boss the entire employment and knowing he is looking for a reason to fire you, can you claim wrongful dismissal?Approximately six months ago I changed from a full-time position to a part-time position at my company because I got another full-time job. Both myself and my employers agreed upon staying at the company part-time, working around my new schedule. However, very recently I was fired and the only comment made in regards to reasoning in that meeting was that “Now you’ve gotten a new job and moved on to bigger and better things”. Is this allowed?I reported harassment and was removed from the shift that put me in contact with the harasser. I lost 24 hours. Is there a law stating that the person reporting harassment can not be punished by being the one removed from the work place. A company customer complained to my employer and made up malicious heresay, the boss bought it and I got fired , totally framed . Can I sue the company and this fellow , one or both ?
