My employer is forcing me to quit without giving me a valid reason and my union is not of much help even though I have 16 years of seniority. Secondly, the company is supposed to accommodate employees for medical reasons according to Human Rights but our union would not even fight for me. Could you advise me what to do. I'm lost and helpless

If you are part of a union then unfortunately you cannot take action in civil court and only your union can assist you against your employer. If your union is refusing to properly represent you then you can bring a Duty of Fair Representation Complaint before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
