I just got fired from my new job in a restaurant in Toronto, i was a busser and i had an aaccident on a vacation getting my knee and left hand injured. not letting me work properly although i tried to but i was obviusly not performing at my 100% . They told me to take time off til I recover and when i got back they gave me a termination letter saying that I'm not the right fit for them and that they're running a business so I'm useless cuz of my injury, Can I suit them for discrimination and wrongful dismissal?

Thank you for your question. If the decision to terminate your employment was based even in part on your injury, then the company has likely discriminated against you on the basis of disability. Please give us a call at the number below to discuss your situation in more detail. We would be happy to help in any way we can.
