Ask your question and an employment lawyer in Ontario, BC or Alberta will answer in minutes
I was hired into a management position without the required degree. Employer was aware of this but was told they weren’t worried about it. I have recently seen the minutes of some senior leadership meetings that state the company should be stringent with the education requirements of leadership positions and should be monitored for compliance. Do I have any recourse if I’m told I need to fulfil the job requirements after I was told not to worry about it?
