My husband was terminated due to restructuring. His current supervisor will be taking on this responsibility in Toronto. The only negative mentioned was that his skills in Powerpoint were not where they could be. This was mentioned once last fall. He looked into taking an course, told his supervisor that there were two dates he could take the course and he did not respond. Is this grounds for dismissal? Could it affect his severance?
