How long do I have to file a wrongful termination suit after being terminated? I was terminated in January, and still to this day I don't know why I was let go. I was never late nor was ever written up. I had been at the company for almost two years as a full time salaried employee. Please help. I know it might be too late.

My name is David Vaughan and I am an employment lawyer with Samfiru Tumarkin. In Ontario, you have 2 years from the time you were notified of your termination to bring a wrongful dismissal action (i.e. a lawsuit to pursue severance pay) against your employer. Therefore, you certainly have enough time to pursue this. Please visit the Severance Calculator (https://www.severancepaycalculator.com/) and contact our firm for an estimate of your severance entitlements.
