Hello,
i was in a sub management position at a security company working 24 hours a week on the weekends, (12 hour shifts on saturday and sunday). I was contacted 3 days before a shift and was told that they had found a replacement for my position. i was not given any notice at all nor was i told that i violated any rules. I was not terminated from the company but my hours were reduced to zero with only 3 days notice and was not given the chance to find anything else.
is there anything i can do about it?
i am put in a tough financial spot because of this. i was using my weekdays to obtain other skills and was depending on this position to support myself.

Thanks for writing to us. Based on the information provided, it appears that your employment has been terminated. You would therefore almost certainly be owed reasonable payment in lieu of notice. Use our Severance Calculator (www.severancepaycalculator.com) to find out how much you may be owed, and call us at the number below to discuss your situation in further detail. We would be happy to help you in any way that we can.
