I was sick in the hospital with a virus affecting my liver for 5 days. My boss had been notified and he told me that taking days off as need is fine and wished me a speedy recovery. I sent updates periodically during this time I was ill. After being discharged from the hospital and once i was feeling better I told my boss I was ready to return and he told me that I would no longer be working for him as they found someone else to do my job full time and they wanted them to finish the projects first. ( i was working part-time)
