Ask your question and an employment lawyer in Ontario, BC or Alberta will answer in minutes
I have been terminated from a contract that was only 7 days in for failure to fulfill my obligation without having been assigned the tools needed to perform the job and mailing lists were not updated to include me into meeting invites.
Hello, and thank you for your question.
If you signed an employment contract which stipulated that your employment would last for a fixed term (i.e. 6 months, 12 months, etc.), it is possible that your previous employer will be liable to pay you out for the balance of this contract. This, of course, depends on the wording of the employment agreement itself.
I suggest you contact us at the number below to discuss your matter further.
Thank you.
