I have been working at a medical office for 9 months. I was let go on Friday after being sent home Thursday by my office manager for being sick. I came into work and I was sent home. I went to the clinic and got a script. I called back and offered to come in and was told to go home and rest. On Friday afternoon I was let go. on the Monday I had asked to leave work at 2pm because my daughter was ill that week. I feel this was purely out of anger. My boss is aware that my daughter also has a bowel condition that makes her sick. Was I wrongfully dismissed?
