I was terminated without cause after 18 years, the contract states I would receive 2 weeks per year of service plus payment in lieu of notice. I only received 18 weeks plus payment in lieu. My benefits were terminated 1 week after my dismissal. Would this render their clause null and void?

Based on the above, you may be owed a more lucrative severance package. However, I would need to review the employment contract before I could provide a firm opinion on the matter.
